In 2007, Pure Research Products, maker of Del-Immune V® sponsored a variety of research products. One of these projects was conducted at the Institute of Microbiology in Kiev, Ukraine. The results of the project were described in a research paper titled, “Study of Interferogenous Activity of Del-Immune V®.” The principal author, Dr. Nicoli Spivak is a distinguished professor and recognized authority on the function of the immune system.

When we originally visited Dr. Spivak in early 2007, he immediately became interested in the product and suggested measuring natural interferon activity in laboratory animals. Natural interferons are very important substances in the immune system. Their function is to activate cells that protect us from viruses, bacteria, the formation of tumor cells and to fight foreign invaders.

The primary interferons are identified as alpha, beta and gamma. TNF, or tumor necrosis factor, was also measured. All of these important  immune components work together to help keep us healthy and free of infection and disease. Interferons alpha and beta are primarily anti-viral and anti-tumor, and TNF is anti-bacterial and anti-tumor.

In his research, Dr. Spivak used five groups  of laboratory animals. Three of the groups received oral Del-Immune V® in different dosages; one group received a known research product and a fifth group received saline. All of the products were administered by mouth. The details of this research project are much more complex, but the research paper summarizes the results this way:

Del-Immune V® increased interferon production levels by two and a half to three times and interferon levels were raised by two times compared to the research standard.

Dr. Spivak also found that the administration of Del-Immune V® leads to an immediate immune response after eight hours, and TNF levels are increased after one hour. Repeating the dosage increased levels of interferons for up to three days. Tumor necrosis factor levels were 10 times higher than the saline control group.

Dr. Spivak concluded that Del-Immune V® demonstrated broad spectrum immune properties. He confirmed that Del-Immune V® does provide immediate immune support, and that it works fast.
